Strange trend

So yesterday I picked up MLO from daycare. She was telling me all about what they did, giving me blow-by-blow by each friend.

At the end she was telling me who didn't cry and that one girl did.

When I asked why the one girl did cry:

"Because (pause) it is dark outside."

Not sure where this is coming from.
